A doctor at Allegheny General Hospital is performing what some people are calling life-changing surgery on those suffering from Parkinson's Disease. Deep Brain Stimulation, performed by Dr. Donald Whiting, calmed the tremors that had robbed Jim Harris of his ability to play guitar. After his successful surgery, Mr. Harris regained control of his muscles and returned to rehearsals with his band.
