Hi, I'm Damian Raxach from One Agency Damian Raxach in Harvey Bay in Queensland. I've been working in a major franchise for many years. A lot of my clients have been under the misconception there that I was the principal and that I was running the business and I felt it was about time that I actually did do that and got the reward for it. Of course, I was going out on my own. Money was a concern so I had to look at everything. I guess that's one of the reasons why I did choose One Agency in the end because I didn't need to spend money doing Logos, reinventing my marketing, creating everything from scratch.

The whole process was very simple and very straightforward. It took us about four weeks, five weeks between signing the agreement and actually being up and running. It was very straightforward. The model itself held great value to me. The fact that you can obviously retain all of your own commission was a very large key driver but for me it wasn't number one. For me, number one was the brand. The brand is so clean, so crisp, so fresh, something that Harvey Bay, certainly probably Queensland and maybe even Australia hasn't seen before. That was the number one for me. The brand was just so attractive. It also gave me the freedom and the opportunity to still be me without the confinements of the franchise model that exists out there at the moment.

In the first five months, we're already up at about $165,000 in GCR so we're already well ahead of our targets and we're managing to keep all of that for ourselves. From a profitability perspective, from an income perspective, it's definitely one of the best decisions I've made in a very, very long time.
